Due to the loss of a leased site, the translator was forced to move. To keep the downtime minimal, we proposed co-locating with an existing translator. The project involved a frequency study for a minor move, antenna replacement, new transmitter and combiner to allow both stations to use a single antenna.
The results were better than expected, with both stations getting an improved signal from the new antenna and careful engineering design.
