DNAV was chosen to provide turn-key integration services for WABC radio. Advanced planning, and collaboration with architects offered an opportunity to identify key details critical to the vision of the operational success of the facility. Installation aspects of the project offered efficient project management and ahead-of-time installation.
Key facilities within the central broadcast center include mirroring control rooms and talk studios, news desk positions, audio production rooms, video production rooms, interview studios and technical operations center. All audio is routed via Dante AoIP with via SAS Core64 routing with Luna, Nucleus and Rio Bravo engine devices and Pro Tools editing stations. Zetta Automation by RCS provides audio playback for on air use. Panasonic PTZ cameras are used for live stream and podcast programs. SAS iSL and Rubicon consoles are featured for central audio mixing in each studio.
